Riding Lessons
Students are exposed to both English & Western disopines. In addition, they will also experience instruction in Showmanship & Halter. For those that may not be familiar with Showmanship & Halter, this is where the rider & horse must learn and work together while on the ground. In show, both disoplines examine the ground manners and teamwork between horse and dismounted rider.

As of 2012, Flying W is now offering jumping instruction for those interested.

Through formal riding lessons, we hope to help our students come away with more than just general riding lessons. We hope to improve their self confidence, sharpen their problem solving skills, inspire them to be the best they can be, and prepare them for the future by giving them something constructive to do not just over the summer but all year round.
